About Carbonear

The Baccalieu Trail (Zone 17) is located on the northwestern corner of the Avalon Peninsula, in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Zone 17 encompasses the Bay De Verde peninsula and stretches from Whitbourne to Grates Cove on the Trinity Bay Shore and from Georgetown to Grates Cove on the Conception Bay Shore. Collectively, the communities of this region have a population of approximately 41,008 and have one of the most diversified business economies in the province.
